Vici Construction was founded five years ago by Tom Kurtz, a builder with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. The son of a New York City detective, Tom learned his work ethic from watching his father navigate the long hours and unpredictable schedules that came with protecting the community. This early exposure to dedication and service later translated into Tom's unwavering commitment to his career and his vision for growing a company that delivers not only quality homes, but also quality jobs.

What began as a hands-on career in home building, from foundations and framing to finishes and final details, evolved into a vision for a company built on quality, trust, and community. From the beginning, our mission has been clear: to create homes that combine strong craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and lasting value. Over the years, Vici has completed a variety of residential projects, from custom-built homes to rental properties, always with the same commitment to detail and durability.

Tom believes that the shortage of skilled tradesmen stems from a lack of quality career opportunities in residential construction. Too often, the trades fail to offer the standard benefits found in other industries, such as 401(k) plans, paid time off, and comprehensive compensation packages.
